Keuhn in 11th-Place After First Round of PL Championships as Bison Sit in Eighth

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Bucknell men's golf team sits in eighth place after day one of the Patriot League Championships at the West Point Golf Course on Friday. Taylor Kuehn sits in 11th place after carding a four-over 74 in the first round.
The Bison fired a 304 as Kuehn led the Bison with a low score of 74 (+4). Four players are tied atop the leaderboard at one-over par: Lehigh's Ryan Cronin, Navy's Jack Tarzy and Holy Cross' Leo Chu and Alex Elia.
Army and Navy are tied for the team lead as both teams carded a 293 (+13) after 18 holes of play. Loyola and Holy Cross shot 294s (+14) to sit one stroke back of the leaders. Lehigh (+15) sits in fifth, Lafayette (+19) is in sixth and Colgate (+20) sits in seventh to make for a tight leaderboard.
Kuehn made two early birdies in his round and was even-par on the front nine. James Robbins made on birdie on the sixth as he carded a 76 (+6). Robbins sits in 25th after day one of the tournament.
James Key made birdied the 10th hole as he fired a 77 (+7). The senior is playing in his first tournament of the season. Jack Hartman carded another 77 to round out Bucknell's scores. Hartman made two birdies and he and Key are tied for 30th.
Jaxon Brown made three birdies on the day as he carded a 78 (+8). Hayden Quinn made birdie on the fourth hole and finished with a 79 (+9).
Bucknell is back in action on Saturday with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. for the second round of the Patriot League Championships.
