CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.- Bucknell women's track & field transported an elite cache of sprinters and hurdlers to the competitive Virginia Challenge and the Bison athletes responded by recording three top ten marks during Friday's action. Three athletes, Grace Camerlingo, Jordan Muraglia, and Noelani Sadler, competed on Friday for the Orange & Blue.Â

"It was a good day today for the team," said sprints coach Richard Alexander. "Three top ten marks for the women shows they are putting things together at the right time. Hopefully, we carry that momentum tomorrow in Virginia and this weekend at the ECAC-IC4A Championships."
Muraglia elevated herself against the elite competition and set a personal record in the long jump, leaping 19-2.50 in her second attempt. The mark finished 18th overall but most importantly flew the rookie into third all-time at Bucknell. She narrowly passed Bison legend Karen Hull for the placement.Â
The PRs did not halt with Muraglia. Sadler, for the second time this season, set a personal record in the Commonwealth of Virginia. After breaking her school record in the 100-meter hurdles at the Colonial Relays, Sadler moved up to seventh all-time at Bucknell. She won her heat and placed 16th overall, running 1:02.04.
The Miami native drew strength from the heat and she admitted, "The heat definitely helps. It's like I'm competing back home."Â
Camerlingo, the rookie sensation who finished second in the 60-meter dash at the Patriot League Indoor Championships, made her outdoor debut on Friday and delivered. She ran 12.19 to finish 47th overall but moved into a tie for tenth all-time with Sasha Hornock at Bucknell.Â
The Virginia Challenge concludes tomorrow for the Bison women.Â

"My goal today was just to relax and have fun," said Muraglia. "I really tried not to over think it today and just let my instincts take over like Coach A always recommends. I think that everything finally clicked and staying relaxed is what help me jump far today. I knew instantly that it was going to be a PR. I think all jumpers know that feeling when they hit the board just right and you fly. I look forward to the rest of the season so I can continue improving."JUMPING JORDAN!
