Colin McLoy Selected as Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Colin McLoy's efforts at the faceoff X were a big key to the Bucknell men's lacrosse team's 12-11 win at Lehigh on Saturday, and McLoy has been rewarded with Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week honors for the first time.
McLoy went 16-for-25 (.640) against three different Mountain Hawks draw-takers, including several key wins during a frantic fourth-quarter. After Sean Murray tied the game at 11-11 with 3:14 left, McLoy had a clean win on the ensuing faceoff, which led to Will Hopkins' game-winning goal just 21 seconds later.
McLoy is now 59-for-97 (.608) on the season. His conversion rate ranks third in the Patriot League and 19th nationally. As a team, Bucknell ranks 15th nationally a 60.3 percent.
The Bison are now 5-1 overall and 1-0 in the Patriot League heading into another big road test on Saturday at Navy.
