Donner's Debriefing
"Day one at Penn went well. The competition was perfect for us with teams from the Big East, Ivy League, and MEAC. We had numerous top six finishers in most of the field events. It is great for the team being on the road in unfamiliar territory."
Madison Fowler continued her impressive run of elite throwing with a third-place finish in the weight throw. The Bison sophomore threw 59-5.50 in her fifth attempt. The distance surpassed the old meet record of 55-10.5 set last year by Bucknell thrower Christine Ajao.
Fowler also paced Bucknell in the shot put. She threw 43-9.25 to finish sixth.
Elizabeth Bryant placed tenth in the polo vault, clearing 11-6.25.
Grace Camerlingo slotted 13th in the 60-meter dash. The rookie ran 7.64, only 0.02 seconds away from tying her personal best.
Jordan Muraglia finished 13th in the long jump, leaping to a personal best 18-4.5.
Emilia Smith earned 14th in the triple jump with a personal record mark of 36-11.5.
