LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell women's basketball is back in Sojka for a midweek Patriot League contest with Navy. The Bison will host the Midshipment on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. as they look for their first conference win of the season.

Navy at a Glance
- Navy is coming into the contest 7-6 overall and 1-1 in the Patriot League after falling to Holy Cross on Saturday afternoon.
- The Midshipmen's lone conference win came in their conference opening game against Boston University, where Navy took a 77-64 victory.
- In their last time out, a rematch from last year's Patriot League Tournament, the Navy women's basketball team was unable to gather a bit of revenge on the Holy Cross Crusaders as the visitors from Worcester, Massachusetts used a 58.3 percent shooting performance from the field and a 6-of-8 mark from the foul line in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Mids and close the game with a 19-8 run over the final eight minutes of regulation play to secure the 66-55 victory.
- Zanai Barnett-Gay leads the Midshipment in almost every statistical category including; points per game (17.2), rebounds per game (5.8), assists per game (3.8) and steals per game (2.5).

Bucknell's Last Time Out
- Lehigh (6-7, 2-0 PL) defeated Bucknell (4-9, 0-2 PL) 74-43 on Saturday afternoon in Stabler Arena. The Mountain Hawks utilized their fast-paced gameplay and the disparity in three-point shooting in the first half to take a 22-point lead that the Bison were unable to claw back from. Lehigh went 14-for-34 from three with seven in the first half, while the Bison struggled from beyond the arc, going 2-for-8 with none in the first half.
- Tuana Coskun led the Bison in scoring with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field. Coskun, Hope Masonius and Reese Zemitis led the team in assists with two each. Isabella Casey and Masonius led the team in rebounds with four apiece. •
- The Mountain Hawks outshot the Bison in all areas of the court as they shot 49 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line on 12-of-12 shooting, compared to Bucknell's 46.2 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from the line.
