"It was a good overall team win and I'm happy with our continued progress and effort," said head coach Dan Wirnsberger. "We still have some things to clean up and improve on, but we are always pleased to score bonus points."
The Bison have outscored their three EIWA opponents 120-10 and are poised to equal the 2022-23 squad who started conference play 4-0.Â
Chappell achieved his milestone in style with a pin over Carter Park. The Bison fifth-year senior scored an early takedown and quickly corralled his opponent into a disadvantageous situation. He completed the pin and celebrated his impressive accomplishment.Â
"I am happy for Dylan as 100 wins is an amazing accomplishment in Division I wrestling," said Wirnsberger. "He has been a consistent performer over the years and there is no doubt that Dylan continues to leave his mark on the program. I am graceful for everything he has given to make our program outstanding."100!

Chappell became the 12th Bison in program history in reach the 100-win milestone and the first since former teammate Kurt Phipps last season.Â
"I am very proud of myself for reaching this milestone in my career," said Chappell. "I want to specifically thank my coaches, teammates, and parents for unconditionally supporting me throughout my career. I have faced countless moments of adversity and my support system has never wavered. I am thankful for the Bucknell Wrestling family."
Myles Takats (174) won the 174-pound crown at last week's Midlands Championships and continued his hot streak by climaxing the match with a pin over Braden Brown. Riley Bower (149) followed up Chappell's pin with one of his own.Â
The match started with the 184-pound class and Tyler Bienus edged Anthony D'Alesio in a 2-1 decision. No. 12 Dillon Bechtold (197), healthy after recent injuries, dominated John Dusza with a 15-1 tech fall. Lucas Lawler (285) rounded out the heaviest weights in a 4-2 decision over Chris Powell.Â
Kade Davidheiser (125) kept the Orange & Blue momentum rolling with an 10-2 major decision over Sawyer Ostroff. Bryce Manera (133) trailed 8-6 in the third round before uncorking a takedown with 27 seconds remaining.Â
After Chappell and Bower's pins, Brayden Roberts squeaked past No. 32 Cade Wirnsberger (157) in a gritty 1-0 decision. No. 25 Noah Mulvaney (165) blunted any late surge with a 4-0 decision before Takats' pin emphatically ended the dual.Â
Bucknell returns to Davis Gym next Saturday at 8 p.m. to face No. 20 Cornell. The Big Red will be the Bison's fifth ranked foe this season.Â
