The Bucknell men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set for its final meet of the season before the Patriot League and ECAC Championships.
The Bison most are coming off of a sweep against Lehigh where the women won 182-118 and the men won 198-102. The Bison celebrated its 16 seniors prior to the meet.
Bucknell's women are 7-2 in dual meets and 6-2 in the Patriot League this season, and they placed third out of seven teams at the Bucknell Invitational back in November. Among the wins are Holy Cross (198-102), Boston University (160.5-139.5), American (200-97), Lafayette (217.5-81.5), Lehigh (182-118) and Loyola (214-85). The two losses have come to reigning PL champions Navy (177-112) and Army (157-143).
Bucknell's men are 5-4 this season with a 4-4 mark in the Patriot League, and they placed seventh at the Bucknell Invitational back in November. The Bison have defeated Holy Cross (163-137), American (226-70), Lafayette (217.5-81.5) and Lehigh (198-102). The Bison have fallen to reigning PL champions Army (191-109), Navy (185-104), Loyola (172-128) and Boston University (172.5-127.5).
Bucknell also hosted the Bucknell Fall Invitational back in October, competing against Seton Hall and Binghamton with no team scoring in the event.

Bucknell Women Last Time Out at La Salle
- Kelly Byrne won three events as the Bison won 10 events on Senior Day in a 182-118 victory over Lehigh on Saturday afternoon at the Kinney Natatorium. Clara Renner and Sofia Burns both reeled in two wins as the three swimmers combined to win seven events for the Bison.
- Bucknell moves to 7-2 overall and 6-2 against Patriot League foes in dual meets this season. Bucknell wrapped up its final dual meet of the season with the Patriot League Championships less than a month away.
- Bucknell started the day off with a first and third-place finish in the 200 medley relay. Bucknell's team of Natalia Gajecki, Hanna Bingley, Samantha Benzija and Sara Ketron won the event in 1:45.97 as the Bison took 13 points in the event.
- Byrne's first win of the day came in the 1,000 free in 10:39.27. Emma Briganti followed in second with a time of 10:50.50, and Keira Giles took fourth in 11:02.93.
- Kyla Kelly and Virginia Hastings went 2-3 in the 200 free. Kelly swam a time of 1:54.34 and Hastings finished in 1:55.27. Jennifer Bolden took fifth in the event to give the Bison eight points in the event.
- Sofia Burns and Gajecki took the top-two spots in the 100 back. Burns won the event in 57.04, finishing two-tenths of a second ahead of Gajecki (57.25). Wainwright took fourth (58.40) as the Bison collected 15 points.
- Bingley won the 100 breast (1:05.54), followed by Sydney Jee in third (1:06.17) and Benzija in fifth (1:07.82). Renner followed up with a win in the 100 fly in 2:01.93. Sydney Dettmann took third (2:06.60) and Joslin Halsey took fourth (2:08.69) as the Bison earned 27 points from those two events.
- Tori Castro (24.17), Ketron (24.45) and Hastings (24.46) went 2-3-4 in the 50 free. Lehigh then took the top-three spots in the 100 free to take 16 points back.
- The Bison answered with wins in the next three event. Sofia Burns won the 200 back (2:04.60), Byrne won the 200 breast (2:20.67) and Renner won the 500 free (5:02.90). The Bison had three swimmers collect points in each of the three events. Alivia Wainwright took third in the 200 back (2:05.90), Jee (2:22.13) and Bingley (2:23.92) went 2-3 in the 200 breast, and Dettmann took third (5:07.54) in the 500 free.
- Lehigh took the top two spots in the 100 fly, but Hastings (57.21), Castro (57.93) and Benzija (58.12) went 3-4-5 to get six points back for the Bison. Byrne's final win of the day came in the 200 IM, where she swam a time of 2:07.90. Jee took second (2:09.59) in the event.
- Natalie Penman had a great day on the boards with a win in the one-meter dive and a second-place finish in the three-meter dive. Penman scored a 232.43 in the one-meter, followed by Ruby Ollife in second (220.05) and Dea Mielenz in fourth (200.48). Penman then scored a 249.68 in the three-meter.
- The reigning Patriot League Rookie of the Meet Clara Renner has been dominant to start the year, winning 17 individual events this season. She has posted six wins in the 200 fly, four wins in the 500 free, three wins in the 100 fly, and two wins in the 1,000 free. She also has wins in the 200 free and the 400 IM. Renner is inching towards her times on the top-10s list, and she already owns eight different times in individual events. Her time of 1:58.21 in the 200 fly last season is the all-time record in the event.
- Kelly Byrne has eight wins this season, and is coming off a great performance against Lehigh where she won three events. Against Lehigh, she won the 1,000 free (10:39.27), the 200 breast (2:20.67) and the 200 IM (2:07.90). She also won the 500 free (5:07.24) against La Salle. She won the 400 IM at Army on Saturday (4:23.01). She took the 500 free (5:12.68) against Holy Cross, the 200 breast (2:22.60) against Boston U., and the 200 back (2:02.16) at the BU Fall Invite. Byrne owns top-10 times in three events, setting two top-10 times this season.
- Kyla Kelly has five wins. She won two events against La Salle, winning the 100 free (52.75) and the 200 IM (2:06.50). She won the 100 breast (1:06.35) against Holy Cross, and had a big day against Boston U. with wins in the 200 free (1:53.23) and 200 IM (2:05.64).
- Jennifer Bolden has five wins wins, picking up two wins against Loyola this past weekend. At Loyola, she won the 200 free (1:51.28) and the 100 free (51.88). Bolden took the 200 free (1:49.31) and 100 Free (51.33) against Army. Her time in the 200 free is the sixth-fastest time on the top-10 lists.Â
- Sydney Jee has three wins this season, winning the 200 breast (2:20.44) against Loyola. She also took the 200 breast (2:24.25) at Holy Cross and the 100 breast (1:05.48) at Boston U.
- Freshman Tori Castro has had a great debut season, setting two top-10 times this season. She won the first two events of her career against Loyola, winning the 50 free (23.61) and 100 fly (55.43). Her time of 23.27 in the 50 free on the first leg of the 200 free relay in the Bucknell Invitational is the fourth-fastest time on the list. Her time of 55.43 in the 100 fly is tied for sixth on the top-10 list, breaking her own mark which she set against Army.
- Freshmen Tessa Feld, Natalia Gajecki, Alivia Wainwright and Kennedy DeVeaux have all collected wins this season. Gajecki leads the pack with three wins, most recently taking the 100 back (56.71) against Loyola and the 100 back (58.38) against La Salle. Feld has two wins, taking the 1,000 free (10:31.34) at Holy Cross and the 200 fly (2:05.36) at the BU Fall Invite. Wainwright also has two wins, most recently winning the 200 back (2:07.00 against La Salle.
- Sofia Burns has three wins this season, picking up two wins against Lehigh in the 100 back (57.04) and the 200 back (2:04.60). She also won the 100 back (56.21) against Army.
- Hanna Bingley picked up her first win of the year against Loyola, swimming a time of 1:04.86 in the 100 breast. She most recently took the 100 breast against Lehigh with a time of 1:05.54.
- Virginia Hastings has two wins this season, most recently winning the 200 IM (2:05.20) against Loyola. Sydney Dettmann has two wins, coming off of a win in the 200 free (1:53.51) against La Salle. Tessa Feld picked up her first win against La Salle, taking the 1,000 free in 10:45.31.
- Natalie Penman won her first event of the year in the one-meter dive, scoring a 232.43.
- The Bucknell men's swimming and diving team won 13 of 16 events on Senior Day as the Bison took down Lehigh 198-102 on Saturday in the Kinney Natatorium. Freshmen duo Jason Kellerman and Drew Davis combined for five wins as seven different Bison won individual events.
- Freshman Jackson Hagler had a great day on the boards to help the Bison sweep both diving events. Hagler set top-10 scores in both the one-meter and three-meter dives.
- Bucknell opened the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay to take 11 points. Davis, Matt Raudabaugh, Finn Russell and Colin Smith finished in 1:31.90, nearly three seconds ahead of Lehigh in second and third.
- Lehigh took a 21-15 advantage after the 1,000 free with the top-two spots in the race. Alex Crossing took third in 9:49.25 and William Shoemaker took fifth in 9:59.39.
- Bucknell then posted wins in the next four events. Kellerman won his first of three races in the 200 free, swimming a time of 1:40.67. Dante Buonadonna came in fourth in the event in 1:42.08 to help even the score 28-28.
- Davis won the 100 back (50.38), followed by Caleb Hagadorn in third (51.55). James Lombardi won the 100 breast (57.41). Raudabaugh (57.46) finished six-hundredths of a second behind Lombardi and Evan Hepburn took fourth (58.45).
- Riley Twiss and Shane Wynne went 1-2 in the 200 fly. Twiss swam a time of 1:52.48 and Wynne was close behind with a time of 1:52.59.
- Smith (21.09) and Russell (21.24) went 2-3 in the 50 free, and Drew Greene took fifth (21.43). Smith then came back to win the 100 free in the next event in 46.29.
- Kellerman's second win of the day came in the 200 back (1:50.07). Davis took second (1:50.99) and Braden Beagle took third (1:52.23).
- Lombardi (2:07.68) took second in the 200 breast, followed by Raudabaugh in fourth (2:09.23) and Hepburn in fifth (2:10.49). Crossing then won the 500 free in 4:38.57 and Twiss took third in 4:41.00.
- Kellerman then posted a win in the 100 fly (49.96). Russell took third (51.34) and Wynne took fourth (51.38). Davis followed with a win in the 200 IM (1:52.02). Caleb Kubiak took third (1:55.25) and Buonadonna took fourth (1:56.99).
- Bucknell swept both diving events. Jackson Vinarub won the one-meter dive with his score of 296.55. Hagler's score of 282.38 was good for second place, and the score is the sixth-highest score in school history. Jack Krug took third in the event with a score of 280.73.
- Krug won the three-meter dive with a score of 306.83. Vinarub took second with a score of 298.80 and Hagler's score of 298.50 was good for third. Hagler's 298.50 is also good for the seventh-highest score in school history for the three-meter.
- Bucknell ended the day with a win in the 400 freestyle relay. Greene, Kellerman, Smith and Twiss won the event in 3:04.52.
- Freshmen Drew Davis leads the Bison with eight event wins thus far, grabbing two more wins in the 100 back (50.38) and the 200 IM (1:52.02) against Lehigh. He posted two wins against both Holy Cross and Boston U. in Bucknell's opening weekend. He won the 200 IM (1:50.95) against Loyola and the 100 back (50.49) against La Salle. At Holy Cross, he won the 100 back (50.75) and the 100 fly (50.72). At Boston U., he won the 100 back (49.88) and 200 IM (1:53.44).
- Davis earned the Patriot League Rookie of the Week honor after the Bucknell Invitational, setting two top-10 times. He set the sixth-fastest time in the 100 back at the Bucknell Invitational as he led off of Bucknell's 400 Medley Relay team, swimming the 100 back in 49.33. Davis owns the 10th-fastest time in the 200 back, swimming a time of 1:48.95 at Army. He broke his previous time of 1:49.04 set at the Bucknell Invitational.
- Freshmen Jason Kellerman is off to a great start, and matched Davis at eight wins this season after picking up three wins against Lehigh. Against Lehigh, he won the 200 free (1:40.67), the 200 back (1:50.07) and the 100 fly (49.96). At Loyola, Kellerman swam the fourth-fastest time in the 200 fly (1:47.26), beating his time of 1:48.82 which he set at the Bucknell Invitational. Kellerman is this week's PL Rookie of the Week after his two wins, two second-place finishes and two more top-five finishes this past weekend. Against Army, Kellerman swam a time of 1:49.07. He took the 200 back (1:52.82) against Holy Cross and the 100 fly (50.84) against Boston U.
- Alex Crossing has three wins, most recently taking the 500 free (4:38.57) against Lehigh. He also won the 200 fly (1:54.03) and the 500 free (4:48.33) against Holy Cross.
- Finn Russell has won the 50 free twice, taking the event against Holy Cross (21.64) and Boston U. (20.97).
- William Shoemaker has three wins in the 1,000 free, most recently winning the event against Loyola (9:27.78) and La Salle (9:56.71) this past weekend. Shoemaker has also won the 500 free (4:33.57).
- Finn Franks earned his first two wins of the season, both coming against La Salle. He won the 200 free in 1:42.23 and won the 500 free in 4:40.75.
- Dante Buonadonna won the 200 IM (1:55.41) against Holy Cross and posted a win in the 200 free (1:40.67) against Loyola. Colin Smith is coming off of his first win of the year in the 100 free (46.29) against Lehigh.
- James Lombardi is coming off of a win in the 100 breast (57.41) against Lehigh. Against La Salle, he won the 100 breast (57.27). He won the 100 breast (57.15) and Shane Wynne won the 200 fly (1:52.13) against Boston U.
- Riley Twiss has two wins this year, winning the 200 fly (1:50.97) at the BU Fall Invite and the 200 fly (1:52.48) against Lehigh.
- Drew Greene picked up his first win of the year at Army, swimming the 100 free in 45.84. ÂÂÂÂ
- Jack Krug picked up his first win of the season with a 290.55 in the one-meter dive against Loyola. Krug then put up a score of 296.40 the following day against La Salle to win the one-meter dive again. He most recently won the three-meter with a score of 306.83 against Lehigh.
- Jackson Vinarub won the one-meter dive at the BU Fall Invite. He most recently won the three-meter dive (321.15) at Loyola, setting a new top-10 mark with the second-highest score in school history. He also won the one-meter dive with a score of 296.55 against Lehigh.
- Jackson Hagler set two new top-10 times in both diving events against Lehigh. In the one-meter, he scored a 282.38 that ranks sixth-highest of all-time. His score of 298.50 in the three-meter dive ranks seventh.
- Matt Raudabaugh won his first event of the season, taking the 200 breast (2:09.25) against La Salle.
