The Bucknell men's and women's swimming and diving teams are underway in the busiest part of the season, and the Bison are set for two more dual meets this weekend. Bucknell is at Loyola (Md.) on Friday afternoon as events kick off at 1 p.m. The Bison have a quick turnaround and are back at Kinney on Saturday afternoon to host La Salle at 1 p.m.
Bucknell is coming off of a dual meet at Army on Saturday where the Bison turned in some great performances but ultimately fell on both the men's and the women's side. The women fell 157-143 in a back-and-forth meet that came down to the final relay. The men fell 191-109, taking three event wins in the meet.
Bucknell's women are 4-2 in dual meets and the Patriot League this season, and they placed third out of seven teams at the Bucknell Invitational back in November. Among the wins are Holy Cross (198-102), Boston University (160.5-139.5), American (200-97) and Lafayette (217.5-81.5). The two losses have come to reigning PL champions Navy (177-112).
Bucknell's men are 3-3 this season, all against Patriot League foes, and they placed seventh at the Bucknell Invitational back in November. The Bison have defeated Holy Cross (163-137), American (226-70) and Lafayette (217.5-81.5). The Bison have fallen to reigning PL champions Army (191-109), Navy (185-104) and Boston University (172.5-127.5).
The Bison are heating up as both the men's and women's sides combined for 11 new top-10 times at the Bucknell Invitational in late November and three more at Army (see 2025 top-10 times listed at the bottom). At Army, Davis and Bolden both broke their own records they set earlier this season.
Bucknell also hosted the Bucknell Fall Invitational back in October, competing against Seton Hall and Binghamton with no team scoring in the event.
