Reese Dolan Earns First PL Goalkeeper of Week Award

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell sophomore Reese Dolan has parlayed her first career shutout into her first career Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week Award, as she was recognized on Monday after Bucknell's 2-0 blanking of Lehigh over the weekend.
Dolan was outstanding in net in the Patriot League opener on Saturday, making six saves on the day. She helped the Bison preserve an early 2-0 lead with a handful of crucial stops in the second half, including back-to-back difficult stops on Lehigh's dangerous striker Aminah Baruwa.
Dolan has started the last seven games in goal and is 3-2-2 with an .829 save percentage and a 0.86 goals-against average. She has made five or more saves in each of her last four outings, and she currently ranks fourth in the Patriot League in both GAA and SV%.
Katie Connell and Gaby Parker scored the goals that got the Bison off to a good start against the Mountain Hawks, and both earned Honorable Mention nods from the Patriot League this week.
Bucknell, Navy, and American were all winners in round one of Patriot League play, and all three sit at the top of the table with three points. Next up for the Bison is a trip to Holy Cross on Saturday. The Crusaders opened PL play with a 1-1 draw at Loyola.
