Bardunias Leads Bison With a One-Under Mark as Women's Golf Sits in Ninth After Two Rounds at the Nittany Lion Invitational

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – After two rounds on Sunday at the Nittany Lion Invitational, Sophia Bardunias leads the Bucknell women's golf team with a one-under par mark as the Bison sit in ninth place in the team standings.
Bardunias fired a 70 (-2) in the first round and posted a 73 (+1) in the second round to sit in a tie for fifth place. Her 70 ranks third-best for a single round and her two-under mark ranks second in team history. Both scores are a career best for the sophomore.
Nicole Yun, playing as an individual, sits in 15th place after firing a 73 and a 74 (+2) to sit at three-over par heading into the final round.
The Bison shot a 308 in the first round led by Bardunias' 70 and Katrina von Behren's 77 (+5). Bardunias and Joelle Johnson led the Bison in the second round with a pair of 73's as the team fired a 302.
Katrina von Behren sits in 52nd place after posting a 77 and a 79. Johnson bounced back after a rough first round where she shot an 84 to card a 73 in the second round. She is tied with Lila Smith, who posted an 80 and a 77, at 13-over par.
Katherine Vice carded an 81 and an 80 in her first two rounds.
The Nittany Lion Invitational continues into Monday for the final round.
