Men’s Golf Finishes Eighth at Blue Hen Intercollegiate

RESULTS

WILMINGTON, Del. – The Bucknell men's golf team finished up play at Delaware's Blue Hen Intercollegiate with a 310 composite, and the Bison ended up in eighth place in a field of 12 teams. Sophomore Patrick Pritsios led the Bison with a 1-over-par 73 in the final round.

Pritsios bounced back nicely from a second-round 81, making three birdies and only four bogeys on the way to the 73. He finished T-24th in the 54-hole event with a 229 total.

Classmate Jack Hartman was the low Bison for the week. Hartman finished up with a 74 after shooting 78-71 on Monday, and he tied for 11th place at 7-over 223. Bucknell also counted a 78 from Taylor Kuehn and an 85 from Henry Bolster in round three.

Arsit Areephun was the medalist with a 7-under 209 (68-69-72), and he led his Delaware team to a runaway win. The Blue Hens were 3-under for the tournament and outpaced runner-up Binghamton by 29 shots.

Bucknell returns to action this weekend at Navy's fall tournament. The Goat runs Saturday and Sunday at the USNA Golf Course.
