
Rudnick, Quinn Named Cobalt All-America Scholars

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell men's golfers Michael Rudnick and Hayden Quinn have been named Cobalt All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar recognition, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
Rudnick and Quinn easily meet the qualifications. Quinn, a rising junior, is a business analytics major with a 3.67 cumulative GPA. He posted a 75.8 stroke average in 2024-25 and was Bucknell's best player in the fall portion of the schedule, when he compiled a team-best 72.6 averages with four under-par round and two top-5 finishes. Quinn played well at the Patriot League Championship in the spring, posting rounds of 72-71-75 in a T-22nd finish.
Rudnick graduated in May with a degree in economics. He was a regular in the Bison lineup all four years and posted a solid 74.9 average in 2024-25, second-best on the team. Rudnick finished T-18th at the Patriot League Championship with rounds of 71-72-73, and he posted a career-low 67 at the Bucknell Invitational to close out the fall campaign.
The men's golf team is coming off an outstanding spring semester academically. The eight-man squad combined for a 3.58 GPA, with five players making the Dean's List.
