Softball Places 18 Players on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell Softball made its third straight Patriot League Tournament and won a game over Lehigh in the format for the second consecutive season in 2025. The team continued its off-the-field success with a 3.57 GPA and this week it was announced that 18 players made the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. That was the highest total recorded among PL softball programs.Â
To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average (GPA) in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's spring championship sports.Â
Of Bucknell's 18 Honor Roll members, 17 also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better, and two softball student-athletes earned perfect 4.0s: Bella Radican and Haley Speicher.Â
Madison Roukey and Speicher landed on the Patriot League All-Academic Team. Four players, Brooke Popella, Radican, Roukey, and Spiecher notched spots on the CSC (College Sports Communicators) Academic All-District list.Â
