Men's Lacrosse Places 38 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's lacrosse team placed 38 student-athletes, representing 84 percent of the roster, on the 2024-25 Patriot League Winter-Spring Academic Honor Roll, the league announced on Thursday.Â
The men's lacrosse squad typically performs very well academically, and this semester was no exception. The Bison combined for a 3.60 team grade-point average, which was the highest among all Bucknell men's teams and third-highest across the entire department. Of the 38 student-athletes on the Honor Roll, 34 also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better, and seven student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0: Ben Bonafede, Henry Boykin, Connor Davis, Louie Germain, Hans Huber, Brennan Lane, and Grant Malas. Davis was also named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team for the second year in a row, and Davis, Germain, Owen Kovacs, and Will Pickering were all named to the College Sports Communicators At-Large Academic All-District Team.Â
Patriot League student-athletes are selected to the Academic Honor Roll for achieving a 3.2 GPA or better during the semester in which their league champion is crowned. Bucknell placed a league-high 341 total student-athletes on the Winter-Spring Honor Roll and a league-high 539 across the Fall and Winter-Spring listings.
