Tereska Earns CSC All-Academic District Team Honors for the Second Straight Year

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Brylee Tereska has developed into one of Bucknell Women's Track and Field main headliners both academically and athletically. She reinforced her claim by repeating as CSC Academic All-District for the second straight year following her highly successful 2024-25 campaign as announced Tuesday by the organization. The criteria for inclusion specified a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, sophomore standing or higher, and ranking top 50 in region in an event.Â

Tereska enjoyed a banner year in the javelin, winning silver at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships - her highest finish ever. She advanced to her third consecutive NCAA East First Round where she placed 17th - once again setting a career-high placement. Her finish was unlocked by her personal-best 159-4 throw, which ranks second in Bucknell history. She has improved from 38th to 26th to 17th in her NCAA East First Round appearances and will look during her senior season to crack the top 12 for insertion into the NCAA National Championships.Â
The junior excels in the classroom posting an astounding 3.82 GPA in Biology, far surpassing the CSC Academic All-District cumulative GPA requirement.Â
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 15, 2025 (women) and July 16, 2025 (men).
