LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell junior Paige Richter received yet another honor on Friday when she was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Women's Golf Team for the second year in a row. The Camp Hill, Pa., native recently earned her third straight All-Patriot League citation with a T-7th finish at the 2025 Patriot League Championship.
At the league championship tournament at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Richter shot 231 over 54 holes to claim a share of seventh place for the third year in a row. Her 1-under 71 in the second round was Bucknell's best-ever score in a Patriot League Championship round, as was the team's 297 total.
Richter enjoyed a strong finish to the spring season, placing 4th at the Prospect Bay Intercollegiate, 7th at the Youngstown State Invitational, and T-7th at the Patriot League Championship. She also had a top-10 finish (T-10th) at the Battle at the Creek in Rehoboth Beach, Del., in September. Richter's 78.3 scoring average was third-best on the team over the full season.
Away from the golf course, Richter is a Dean's List student in economics. She spent a month last summer in Cape Town, South Africa, interning with the nonprofit Call 2 Care. She has also served as a financial planning extern with uFinancial Group.
Richter is Bucknell's fourth two-time Patriot League All-Academic selection, joining Bridget Wilcox (2013-14), Lindsay Dodovich (2016-17), and Katie Childers (2018-19).
