The Inside "Herd" on the Bison
- Bucknell went 3-1 at the Wolverine Invitational during March 22-23. The Bison lost to host Michigan but rallied to obtain two conference wins over Mercyhurst and Saint Francis while picking up a solid non-CWPA win over Salem.
- The Bison displayed marked improvement by beating the Saint Francis Red Flash 15-10 after only narrowly edging the fellow Keystone State school 10-9 at the Bucknell Invitational.
- Bucknell sits fifth in the seven-team CWPA standings. The Bison are one game behind Brown.
- Olivia Hopper leads Bucknell with 71 goals.
- Every Bison field player has found the net in the 2025 season showcasing Head Coach John McBride's ability at restocking Bucknell's cupboard after the past few seasons.
- Harvard sits at 20-6 overall and leads the CWPA with an 8-2 record. The Crimson spent last weekend at Princeton where they defeated Mercyhurst 20-3 but lost to the host team 12-8. All six of Harvard's losses have come to ranked foes. Bucknell lost 18-4 to Harvard earlier this season in Cambridge.
- Brown has gone 14-12 overall and slots fourth in the CWPA with a 5-4 mark. The Bears are on a two-game winning streak, defeating Mercyhurst and upsetting Princeton. Brown has only lost one game to a non-ranked foe, Villanova, who was receiving votes in the poll. The Bison only lost 13-10 at Brown on Feb. 23.
