Men’s Golf Gets Underway at Rutherford Intercollegiate

RESULTS
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Bucknell men's golf team posted rounds of 292 and 311 on Saturday on the opening day of the Rutherford Intercollegiate, hosted by Penn State. Jack Hartman and Michael Rudnick both posted 72s in the first round for the Bison, who are in 11th place.
Hartman made 17 pars and a bogey on the way to the 1-over-par 72 in the morning round, and then he followed with a 77 in the afternoon. He is the low Bison at 7-over 149, which puts him in a tie for 36th place.
Hartman and James Robbins both made eagles in the second round. Robbins followed a first-round 79 with a team-best 74 in the afternoon. Rudnick shot 72-80, James Key posted 73-80, and Patrick Pritsios shot 75-80.
Rhode Island's Luke Stennett (66-71) and LIU's Arjun Singh Bhatia (71-66) are tied for the individual lead at 5-under. Delaware's Pasit Iampongsai (71-68) is two shots back.
Delaware has the team lead at 1-under 567. LIU is second at 570, followed by Rhode Island (572), Longwood (573), and Penn State (575).
The third and final round is set for Sunday morning. Bucknell's tee times begin at 8:27 a.m. off the 10th hole on the Penn State Blue Course.
