
Water Polo Hosts #10 Princeton in Senior Day Showdown

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell women's water polo (14-11, 4-7 CWPA) completes the regular season with a single game versus #10 Princeton on Saturday. The Bison face Princeton for the second time this season after losing to the Tigers at Harvard. The Orange & Blue will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday. The game will be streamed on YouTube.Â

The Inside "Herd" on the Bison
Bucknell heads to the CWPA Championships (April 25-27) held at Brown. The Bison, as the fifth seed, will face host Brown on April 25 in the 7:30 nightcap. Should the Orange & Blue pull the upset, they will face the undetermined one seed.Â

The Inside "Herd" on the Bison
- The Orange & Blue went 0-2 against #20 Brown and #13 Harvard at the CWPA Conference Crossover last weekend at Michigan. The Crimson dealt Bucknell a 18-5 loss while Brown won 11-7.Â
- The Bison will honor three seniors Sidney Finkler, Izzy Lippolis, and Boati Motau.Â
- Bucknell are locked into fifth place in the seven-team CWPA standings, no matter the outcome of the game. Princeton can tie Harvard for first in the conference with a win.Â
- Olivia Hopper leads Bucknell with 75 goals.
- Every Bison field player has found the net in the 2025 season showcasing Head Coach John McBride's ability at restocking Bucknell's cupboard after the past few seasons.Â
- Princeton sits at 18-6 overall and 9-2 in conference play. The Tigers have only lost to ranked teams, including two league defeats to rivals Brown and Harvard. Kayla Yelensky leads the Tigers's attack with 81 goals. Princeton defeated Bucknell 19-5 on Feb. 22.Â
