Water Polo Travels to New England for Three CWPA Matches

LEWISBURG, Pa.-Â The Bucknell women's water polo team resumes action after a bye week with a challenging slate of CWPA opponents in #21 Brown, #19 Harvard, and #13 Princeton. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.

- Bucknell continued its best start since 2020 by going 4-0 at the Bucknell Invitational. The Orange & Blue picked up their second wins over La Salle and Siena and posted two CWPA victories over Mercyhurst and Saint Francis.Â
- The Bison won all three first weekends and sit alone on the top of the CWPA at 2-0.Â
- Every Bison field player has scored a goal in the 2025 season highlighting Head Coach John McBride's outstanding efforts at rebuilding Bucknell's historically strong depth.Â
- Freshman Olivia Hopper leads the team with 26 goals. Her twin sister Ashley Hopper has tallied 14 goals.Â
- Princeton sits at 5-2 with wins over #21 Brown, La Salle, LIU, #22 Wagner, and #15 UC Santa Barbara. They dropped games to Harvard and UC San Diego.Â
- Harvard has a 7-1 record despite seven out of eight contests coming against a ranked foe. They defeated #25 LIU (2x), #13 Princeton, Redlands, #19 Wagner, UC Santa Barbara, and UC San Diego. Harvard fell to #12 Indiana. The Crimson blanked Redlands, 20-0.Â
- Brown has posted a 6-6 record. The Bears beat Iona, #25 LIU, #20 Pacific, Santa Clara, UC Merced, and Villanova while falling to Indiana, #24 Pacific, #8 Princeton, #15 UC Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, #19 San Jose State, and Villanova.Â
