LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell women's basketball is staying up north for its second game of the weekend as it takes on Dartmouth on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. in Hanover, NH at Leede Arena. The Bison are 1-0 against the Big Green, with the teams lone contest coming in a 2024 53-50 victory for Bucknell in Lewisburg. The Bison enter the contest 3-6 off of a loss to Vermont, while the Big Green are 4-2 off of a win over CCSU.

- Bucknell women's basketball (3-6) fell to the University of Vermont (7-3) 64-48 on Friday night in Patrick Gymnasium. The Bison came back from a nine-point first quarter deficit to take a lead in the third, but it wouldn't be enough as the Catamounts would outscore the Bison 26-16 in the final ten minutes to take the home win.
- Elana Weisman led the team in scoring with 16 points on the evening on 5-of-11 shooting from the field, 2-for-2 from three and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. She also had two rebounds, two steals and one assist. Hope Masonius made her first collegiate start in the loss and broke her career high in points with 14 on 4-of-8 shooting from the field and 6-of-7 shooting from the free-throw line. She also recorded three rebounds, one assist and two steals, which are all new career-highs for the Bison that previously struggled with injury last season. Isabella Casey led the team in rebounds with four.
- The Bison shot 37.5% from the field and from three in the loss. They shot 78.9% overall from the free-throw line.
- The Catamounts were led by Jadyn Weltz, who had 17 points in the contest. Despite being limited to just seven points in the second quarter, the Catamounts came into the second half swinging and were able to find the consistent offensive success in the fourth quarter that both teams were looking for to create separation and earn the victory in Burlington.
