Krumov Earns CSC Academic All-American Status

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Junior David Krumov was selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Second Team announced on Tuesday.
Krumov becomes the ninth CSC Academic All-American in program history and the first since Matt Thorsheim made the third team in 2020.
The Dallas, Texas native is a standout in the classroom and on the field. As a computer science major, Krumov has maintained a 4.00 GPA. In recent weeks, he was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team and the CSC Academic All-District Team. Krumov is also a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
An all-Patriot League Third Team selection, Krumov has been vital to the Bucknell midfield the past three seasons. This season, he provided two assist that includes game-winning assists on goals against Holy Cross and Saint Francis.
In order to qualify for Academic All-District and Academic All-America honors, students must be at least a sophomore with a minimum 3.50 grade-point average, and they must have played in 90 percent of the team's games or started 67 percent of the team's games as of the November 18 nomination deadline.
