Davis, Kellerman Set Top-10 Marks as Men's Swimming and Diving Wraps Up Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Freshmen Drew Davis and Jason Kellerman both set new marks on Bucknell's top-10 lists as the men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the final day of the Bucknell Invitational on Sunday at the Kinney Natatorium.
Bucknell took seventh among the seven teams with 581.50 points. Brown ran away with the event with 1,809 points followed by Delaware (1,159), Seton Hall (979), UMBC (954), Davidson (778) and Fordham (585).
Davis set the 10th fastest time in the 200 back after setting a top-10 mark in the 100 back on Friday. His time of 1:49.04 was good for second in the B-final to take 17 points, and 10th overall in the event. Braden Beagle took 16th with a time of 1:51.16 to earn 11 points.
Kellerman later set the eighth-fastest time in the 200 fly with a time of 1:48.82. He finished fourth in the A-final to earn 26 points for the Bison. Riley Twiss (1:50.76), Alex Crossing (1:51.36) and Shane Wynne (1:51.78) all swam in the B-final to earn points.
William Shoemaker had Bucknell's best finish in the 1,650 free in 13th with a time of 15:55.15 to earn 14 points. Colin Smith earned nine points, winning the C-final with a time of 45.28. Jack Krug took eighth in the three-meter dive with a score of 260.15 to collect 22 points.
Bucknell ended the day with another top-10 time in the 400 freestyle relay. Davis, Smith, Drew Greene and Finn Russell swam a time of 3:00.41 which was good for 10th on the top-10 list.
Bucknell is back in action again after the winter break, traveling to Army for a dual meet on Saturday, January 10 at 12 p.m.
