
Women's Basketball Inks Newest Recruiting Class

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Bucknell Bison women's basketball team announced its latest recruiting class this week and it includes three exciting players for the 2026-27 season.
Bucknell welcomes a forward, wing and point guard to next year's roster. Two of the commits hail from Jersey and the third is a Williamsport, Pa. native. All three players served as captains on their high school teams.
"These are three versatile players that fit our culture and positional needs," said head coach Trevor Woodruff.Forward Alaina Dadze commits to the Bison from nearby Williamsport, Pa. The 6'1 athlete played high school basketball for Loyalsock Township and played club for Aces. She served as a captain for both her basketball and track teams. Dadze earned several honors throughout her high school career including 2025 3A Player of the Year, PHAC MVP (2x), 2023 PHAC First Team, 2024 Second Team Allstate and was the Sun Gazette Player of the year twice. She was a 1,000 point scorer for Loyalsock Township and led the team to a state championship in 2025.
Wing Grace Feeney comes to the Bison from Leonardo, NJ. Feeney, at 6'0, played high school ball for Trinity Hall. While at Trinity, she served as a captain and earned various honors including being three-time First Team All-Division, Second Team All-Shore and Jersey Sports Zone "All-Zone". Through the 2024-25 season, the wing averaged 16 points and eight rebounds per game. She recorded 434 points and 217 rebounds for Trinity Hall in total that season. They also were division champions and Shore conference semi-finalists for the first time in school history with Feeney on the squad. She also played club for New Jersey Rise.
Point Guard Tessa Liggio commits to Bucknell from Colts Neck, NJ. The 5'7 athlete played high school ball for Red Bank Catholic High School and club for Shoreshots AAU. Liggio served as a team captain and helped her team to a 2023 state championship and a 2024 Shore Conference Championship. The point guard was second on the team in assists and third on the team in rebounds last season.
The 2025-26 Bison squad just earned their first win of 2025-26 and are heading to Ohio to take on Youngstown State on Sunday, Nov.16 at 2 p.m.
