LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell (4-10, 1-4 MAWPC) was upended 17-8 Saturday afternoon in home waters against No. 19 George Washington (8-8, 4-0 AWPC ). The Bison were unable to generate any traction against the ranked foe and dropped its third straight conference match. 
Six different players scored for Bucknell with Tyler Hedblad and Jack Murad each scoring two goals.Â
The Revolutionaries set the tone early with a 6-2 first quarter, grabbing a lead that they would never relinquish.Â
The Bison played to even terms in the second period with both teams scoring twice for the 8-4 George Washington halftime lead.Â
Bucknell's offense came alive and tallied four goals in the third period but the Revolutionaries notched one more.Â
For the second straight game against GW, Bucknell was held scoreless in the final period. George Washington added four more insurance goals for the 17-8 win.
Bucknell journeys to Mercyhurst tomorrow for another MAWPCÂ matchup.Â
