Men's Cross Country Travels East to Easton for Lafayette Preview

LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell University men's cross country team heads east to Easton for the Lafayette Preview Friday night. The men's squad will run the full lineup at the meet after finishing second at the Father Bede Invitational last Saturday. The teams will be racing on the short course.

"This is a great early season meet where we will get the opportunity to scout the Patriot League course that will be used in November. Most of the teams at this meet are Patriot League schools, so it will give us a good gauge on where we stand."

Overview

This course encompasses the same terrain that the 2024 Patriot League Championships will travel. Bucknell will receive a sneak peek before the crucial meet.
Bucknell finished second last weekend at the Father Bede Invitational, running only freshmen and sophomores.
Four Bison finished in top 10, including two runners in the top five.
Freshman Ethan Perez-Pratt grabbed bronze in his collegiate debut.
Fellow freshmen Andrew Young and David Carillo finished seventh and eighth, respectively.
Rookie Dan Wuenschel rounded out the top ten placements by placing tenth.
