LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell cross country season began in Bethlehem at the Lehigh Open, saw great results at the Lehigh-hosted Patriot League Championships, and now the team returns to the same course for a thrice time this Friday at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals. Both the men and women's teams finished 11th at last year's regionals. The Lehigh course has been fair to the Bison. The Orange & Blue women placed second and the men, despite lacking full health, grabbed fifth at the Patriot League Championships. The women's 6k race begins at noon and the men's 10k competition follows at 1 p.m. 31 women's teams and 30 men's teams will be present.Â

Donner's Debriefing
Women: "Our women seem to be peaking at the right time and they are excited for regionals. Our goal is always to finish higher than our ranking which is eighth. We know the course very well. McNally has a shot for All-Region and we have others who should not be too far behind."
Men: "We are very excited about the regional meet. I have always felt that the 10k distance helps our team and we always aim to finish higher than our latest ranking which is 11th. Being in the top 10 would be a successful meet for us and we have a couple of guys capable of making All-Region (top 25). The key will be our 3-4-5 men and how they execute the race."
Overview
Should the Bison finish in the top two, they will head to the National Championships in Columbia, Missouri.Â
