WORCESTER, Mass.- Bucknell (3-4, 1-1 Patriot League) faced a chilly and rainy afternoon contest against Patriot League rival Holy Cross (7-2, 3-0 Patriot League), ultimately succumbing 18-10 at Kuzniewski Field. Despite trailing 17-3 at halftime, the Bison mounted a significant comeback in the second half. Their strongest performance came in the fourth quarter, where they staged an impressive 7-1 run.

Despite a sluggish beginning against Holy Cross, Bucknell showcased scoring depth with seven different contributors. Megan Krestinski led with a hat trick, while Braeden Siverson and Taylor Kopan each scored twice. Additionally, Abby Henderson, Allie Boyce, Regan Sansiviero, and Katie Browne each contributed a point for the Bison.

During a lapse by the Crusaders in the first quarter, the Bison seized possession and advanced up the field, aiming to initiate their first offensive move. Bucknell skillfully maneuvered the ball around the Crusaders' defense, ultimately reaching Krestinski. Krestinski executed a successful play on goal, securing the Bison's first score of the match.

Bucknell began to gain momentum as it resumed their offensive drive, deftly maneuvering the ball around Holy Cross's defense. A pass from Krestinski to Kopan resulted in Kopan's high-to-low shot, finding the back left corner of the net to extend the score to 9-2.
The Bison seized their first scoring opportunity of the second half following a foul by Holy Cross's Kate Burns. Tatum Kolhbrenner lined up for the free position but instead passed to Siverson. Despite an initial unsuccessful attempt, Siverson capitalized on her own rebound, successfully slotting the ball into the net for a goal. Siverson continued her scoring streak less than two minutes later, unleashing a remarkable shot on goal, widening the gap to 17-5.

Senior attacker Kopan joined the scoring frenzy, expertly firing the ball past the goalie into the top shelf for a goal. Abby Henderson extended Bucknell's late offensive surge by driving from beyond the 12-meter mark to contribute to their rhythm. With 7:46 remaining, Bucknell successfully halted the running clock. Buoyed by their newfound momentum and swift passing, sophomore attacker Browne netted her first goal of the game, prompting Holy Cross to call a timeout, with the Bison tallying the last five goals.
In the final moments, Sansiviero and Boyce, who is second in the nation for shot percentage (.692), both added goals for the Bison, with less than 30 seconds remaining on the
