Women's Lacrosse Drops Contest to Patriot League Rival Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass.- Bucknell (3-4, 1-1 Patriot League) faced a chilly and rainy afternoon contest against Patriot League rival Holy Cross (7-2, 3-0 Patriot League), ultimately succumbing 18-10 at Kuzniewski Field. Despite trailing 17-3 at halftime, the Bison mounted a significant comeback in the second half. Their strongest performance came in the fourth quarter, where they staged an impressive 7-1 run.

Despite a sluggish beginning against Holy Cross, Bucknell showcased scoring depth with seven different contributors. Megan Krestinski led with a hat trick, while Braeden Siverson and Taylor Kopan each scored twice. Additionally, Abby Henderson, Allie Boyce, Regan Sansiviero, and Katie Browne each contributed a point for the Bison.

Buoyed by their newfound momentum and swift passing, sophomore attacker Browne netted her first goal of the game, prompting Holy Cross to call a timeout, with the Bison tallying the last five goals.
