Meghan Quinn Awarded Sixth Bison of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Fresh off record-breaking performances at the 2024 Patriot League Women's Indoor Championships, senior sprinter Meghan Quinn won her sixth career Bison of the Week award. Quinn's feats helped Bucknell collect 105.5 points and finish fourth.Â
Quinn smoked the competition in the 200-meter dash. The Lititz native's time of 23.73 won gold by 0.35 seconds, set the meet record and filled 10 points in the Bison coffers. Quinn also broke her previously set school record time of 24.03. It was Quinn's second victory at the Indoor Championships. She previously won the 60-meter dash at the 2022 Indoor Championships. The victory earned her First Team All-Patriot League.Â
The Warwick Winmaker continued her success by placing second in the 60-meter dash. Her time of 7.49 broke Kaitlin Salisbury's Bucknell record of 7.50, giving Quinn her ninth school record. She only missed gold by 0.03 seconds. The silver medal gave her Second Team All-Patriot League honors.Â
Quinn's final event was the 4x400-meter relay. Competing with a reshuffled quartet after graduation removed two mainstays, Quinn served as the anchor with the foursome winning bronze on a time of 3:48.66.Â
The senior runner is not a stranger to Bison of the Week honors. Her sixth one places her in rare company, as she joins Christine Bendzinski in the same amount.Â
Quinn and any qualifying Bison return to action this weekend at the ECAC Indoor Championships.Â
