Alex Creamean Named Patriot League Golfer of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell freshman Alex Creamean earned Patriot League Golfer of the Week honors on Wednesday after a strong finish at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate in Puerto Rico earlier in the week.
In Bucknell's first tournament of the spring campaign, Creamean bounced back from an opening-round 78 to shoot a pair of 1-under-par 71s in rounds two and three. His 4-over 220 total was good for a tie for 57th place in a loaded field that featured the likes of Arkansas, Michigan, Virginia Tech, and UNC Greensboro.
Creamean, who finished the tournament with a pair of birdies and made 11 on the week, has now broken par in seven of his last nine rounds dating back to the fall season.
The Bison will be back in action in two weeks at the Loyola Intercollegiate at Palm Valley GC in Goodyear, Ariz.
