Tournament Details
Format: Round-robin style play in eight four-player singles groups and four four-team doubles groups; flight champions based on overall record, with sets W/L and games W/L used as tiebreakers

Schedule
Friday (1 p.m. start): 1 round of singles
Saturday (9 a.m. start): 2 rounds of doubles, 1 round of singles
Sunday (9 a.m. start): 1 round of doubles, 1 round of singles

Bucknell at a Glance

Bucknell opens the fall at home this weekend with the first of three invitationals on the schedule. The Bison will go up against Lafayette, Mount St. Mary's and Saint Francis (PA) during the three-day, round-robin style tournament.
In addition to the three tournaments, the Bison will face Bowling Green and Ferris State in dual matches before the new year.
Bucknell returned all eight members of last spring's roster and added two newcomers: Tori Allen of Horsham, Pa. and Jaycie Mair of Lextington, Ky. The roster is comprised of three seniors, three juniors, two sophomores and the two rookies.
One of Bucknell's returners, junior Whitney King, earned a spot on the 2023 All-Patriot League First Team. King went 12-7 in singles playing primarily at the No. 1 position last year. She was also 18-8 in doubles play.
King boasts a 40-13 career doubles record and a 30-10 singles mark over her two seasons. She was also named to the 2023 Academic All-Patriot League Team.
Sophomore Abby Platt led the Bison in doubles wins in 2022-23 with a 20-7 record, including a 5-2 mark in tournament play and a 15-5 dual record.
Junior Anna Lajos led Bucknell in singles victories (17) in 2022-23 and is now 11 singles wins away from cracking Bucknell's all-time top 25 list.
Tyne Miller, Kate Novak and Madi Sebulsky are serving as senior captains this season.
Head coach Tammy Cecchini is entering her fifth year leading the Bison. She owns a 36-31 record since arriving in Lewisburg.
Bucknell finished the 2022-23 campaign 13-13 (4-3 PL) and reached the Patriot League semifinal round for a second time under Cecchini. The Bison defeated Colgate 4-0 in the quarterfinals for the program's 500th all-time victory in what was the 50th season of Bucknell women's tennis.
