Women's Tennis Lands Four on CSC Academic All-League Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell women's tennis landed four student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Seniors Abby Platt and Mirra Manolov alongside sophomores Riley Jennings and Cameron King were the four women's tennis players from Bucknell named to the team.
Each of the nominees were required to have a minimum grade point average of 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) in undergraduate or graduate study. The student-athletes must have also been in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's days of competition (regional competition such as ITAs and non-team scored events do not count).
Abby Platt added CSC Academic All-District to her tally of senior year accomplishments after being named First Team All-Patriot League and to the Academic All-Patriot League squad this past week. The senior recorded 12 overall wins at No. 1 singles and 17 overall wins at No. 1 doubles while etching her name into the Bucknell record books. She ended her career at Bucknell ranked in several categories of the Bucknell women's tennis record book including; 15th in career singles (54), 6th in career doubles (76) and 9th in career combined wins (130). She also garnered two Patriot League Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors this season.
The senior is a business analytics major that had a stellar GPA over her four years at Bucknell. She also served as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair for Bucknell's chapter of Alpha Xi Delta and served as the Operations Coordinator for the Bucknell Teaching and Learning Center. She will be graduating with a degree in business analytics and working at Keurig Dr. Pepper as a sales analyst in the accelerated leadership program afterwards.
Riley Jennings earned a spot after recording 17 overall wins with Platt at the No. 1 doubles spot and six overall wins at the No. 2 singles spot. Outside of athletics, the sophomore has served as a summer camp counselor and tennis instructor. In 2024, she was a legal intern at Jackson Law. Jennings is currently studying Psychology in Bucknell's College of Arts & Sciences.
Mirra Manolov recorded 16 overall singles wins and nine overall doubles wins on her road to CSC Academic All-District Honors. She ended her career with the Bison ranked 33rd in the Bucknell record book in career singles wins with 40. Outside of athletics, the senior has served as a Sports Medicine Intern at Bucknell since 2023. In 2024, Manolov was a Program Development Intern for Call 2 Care and she also spent the summers of 2024 and 2025 as a Geographic Information System Intern for the City of Columbia, Missouri. Manolov will be graduating from Bucknell with degrees in economics and geography.
Cameron King earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team after notching 10 overall singles wins and 18 overall doubles wins at the No.3 spot. The sophomore is currently studying accounting in Bucknell's College of Management.
