"Our women had an outstanding meet, and although we were only fourth as a team, we closed the gap with Boston and Army quite a bit compared to last year and indoors," said head coach Kevin Donner. "Our sprinters were on fire today, and the relays were outstanding. Overall, the balance of all our event groups was sold, and I feel good about our women's programs for next year based on the returning people and the quality of our incoming recruiting class. I would say the Bison women's program is back in business."
Meghan Quinn earned the Women's Highest Point Scorer award for her performances in the 100-meter & 200-meter dashes and the 4x100-meter & 4x400-meter relays. Her performance in the 100-meter dash rewrote the Bison record book. The junior sprinter raced for 11.64 to win the event, collect 10 points, and break her previous Bucknell record. She narrowly missed first place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.15, but her second-place finish brought in eight points for Bucknell.
