Blake Wisdom Earns Academic All-Patriot League Nod

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell senior Blake Wisdom earned a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League Men's Golf Team on Friday. Wisdom led the team with a 72.3 scoring average in 2022-23, and last week he finished in a tie for 12th place at the Patriot League Championships.
An economics major with a 3.59 grade-point average, Wisdom was joined on the Academic All-Patriot League Team by Colgate's Akhil Giri, Lehigh's Daniel Song, Navy's Keegan Shreves, and Loyola's Mike Crowley and Matt Malits. Song, the 2023 Patriot League champion, was selected as the Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Wisdom recorded nine under-par rounds this season, including four 67s. Earlier this spring he finished third in a strong field at the RedHawk Intercollegiate at Pittsburgh Field Club, shooting 72-75-67. He also had top-10 finishes at the Bucknell Invitational (T-3rd), Nassau Invitational (T-5th), and the Cornell/Temple Invitational (T-9th).
At last month's Senior Awards Banquet, Wisdom received the Bradley N. Tufts Award for exceptional athletic achievement and contribution to Bucknell Athletics.
