Josh Holtschlag Named Patriot League Co-Golfer of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell senior Josh Holtschlag has been named the co-Patriot League Golfer of the Week after a strong performance at Colgate last weekend. Holtschlag shared the award with Colgate's Robbie Herzig, as those two tied for first place at the Upstate Battle at Seven Oaks Golf Club.
Holtschlag and Herzig both finished with 1-over-par totals of 145 to pace the field of 24 players. Holtschlag followed up an opening-round 74 with a 1-under 71 on Sunday, his second-best score of the season. Earlier in the spring he posted an opening-round 70 at the UC San Diego Invitational at Torrey Pines. He made three birdies in the round and shot a 2-under 34 on the back nine.
Holtschlag is the third Bison senior to earn Patriot League Golfer of the Week honors this season. Jackson Bussell garnered the award twice and Blake Wisdom once during the fall campaign.
