LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell guards Cecelia Collins and Emma Theodorsson brought home Patriot League honors on Friday. Collins received Second Team All-Patriot League, and Theodorsson nabbed a slot on the Patriot League All-Rookie Team. It is the third league honor for Collins, who won spots on the Second Team All-Patriot League and Patriot League All-Rookie Team last season.Â
Collins ranks sixth in the Patriot League in scoring (13.8 ppg), seventh in assists (3.0 ppg), and fourth in assists/turnover ratio (1.3) as the sophomore guard has been the facilitator and distributor for the Bison offense.Â
Collins is steadily moving up the scoring ranks for the Bison as she currently has 667 career points, despite missing seven games this year due to injury, to lead all current Bison players. She eclipsed 100 career assists in November and currently has 161. Collins is also a force on the boards, grabbing 227 career rebounds.Â
Theodorsson has shined in her rookie season, nabbing two Patriot League Rookie of the Week awards. The Moon Township product averaged 7.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. She scored 23 points against Lafayette, the second-highest total for a Bison player this season. She is 14 points away from 200 on the season and one rebound away from 100 boards. She has been lethal from the free-throw line missing only five attempts this season for a .848 average.Â
Joining Collins on the Second Team All-Patriot League were American's Emily Johns, Colgate's Taylor Golembiewski, Holy Cross' Bronagh Power-Cassidy, and Loyola's Lex Therien.Â
