Bucknell Women at a Glance
• Bucknell attends the ECAC Championships in Annapolis, M.D. this weekend. Events run Friday through Sunday. The Bison finished fourth at last year's ECAC Championships with 264.5 points. Maddie Hartigan won a gold medal in the 100 freestyle, and the 400 freestyle relay team earned a third-place finish.
• The Bucknell women's swimming & diving team placed third at the 2023 Patriot League Championships, which the Bison hosted Feb. 15 through Feb. 18 at Kinney Natatorium. Bucknell won eight medals, including a gold and a silver for senior Sabrina Vumbacco. Bucknell's 200 medley relay team also set a new school record.
• Bucknell placed five on the 2023 All-Patriot League Team: Vumbacco (First Team), Catherine Craig (Second Team), Abby Doss (Second Team), Esme Hunter (Second Team), and Caroline McGann (Second Team). Vumbacco and Craig both became three-time All-Patriot League honorees.
• Vumbacco was named the Patriot League Female Swimmer of the Week back on Jan. 24.
• The Bison posted a 6-2 (5-2 PL) record in dual meets this season, and the current senior class will graduate with a 28-4 (22-4 PL) mark in dual meet action.
• Bucknell posted a 9-1 (7-1 PL) record during the 2021-22 season. It finished second at the 2022 Patriot League Championships.
• Bucknell added seven student-athletes to its program ahead of the 2022-23 campaign. The newcomers hail from seven different states: California, Connecticut, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Bucknell Men at a Glance
• Bucknell attends the ECAC Championships in Annapolis, M.D. this weekend. Events run Friday through Sunday. The Bison posted a runner-up finish at the 2022 ECAC Championships with 390.5 points, finishing only behind Navy. Bucknell won six silver medals, and it was the team's best finish at the meet since 2012.
• Bucknell's took third at the Patriot League Championships for a second straight year. The Bison collected seven medals, including a gold medal by Leo Kuyl in the 500 freestyle and a silver by John Gehrig in the 200 butterfly.
• Bucknell set new school records in eight events at the PL Championships and added dozens of program top-10 times.
• Six Bison landed on the 2023 All-Patriot League Team, which was announced by the league office on Wednesday: Kuyl (First Team), Gehrig (First Team), Justin DiSanto (Second Team), Andy Dorsel (Second Team), Chris Fabian (Second Team) and Chris Kopac (Second Team).
• Kuyl was named the Bison of the Week on Monday, and it's the third time this season a Bucknell swimmer has earned the honor. Gehrig earned Patriot League Swimmer of the Week recognition earlier in the season.
• Bucknell finished the 2023 dual meet schedule with a 6-2 (5-2 PL) record. The senior class will graduate with a 19-13 (16-10) record in dual meet action, including a 13-5 (11-4 PL) mark over the last two seasons.
• Bucknell was 7-3 (6-2 PL) last season. It was the team's best record in dual meet competition since the 2013-14 campaign. The Bison went on to take third at the 2022 Patriot League Championships, helping head coach Dan Schinnerer earn his third-career Patriot League Men's Coach of the Year nod.
• The Bison welcomed 11 newcomers to the program ahead of the 2022-23 campaign. They hail from eight different states: California, Connecticut (2), Florida, Maryland, New York (2), Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.
