Bucknell Softball to Play in the Little League Girls With Game Experience

LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell softball team concludes its 2023 Fall Ball schedule on Oct. 21 by participating in the second annual Little League GWG (#GirlsWithGame) Experience at the iconic Little League World Series Complex in South Williamsport. The Bison will play Big 10 foe Maryland at 2 p.m. in Howard J. Lamade Stadium. Four regional programs will be present: Army, Bucknell, Maryland, and Penn State.

When: 9 a.m. (clinic) & 2 p.m. (game)

A full day of activities has been scheduled. The event starts at 9 a.m. with a three-hour instructional clinic for female players ages 9-14 led by representatives from each of the Division I programs. After the clinic, participants can watch two exhibition games featuring all four teams. Following the conclusion of the Bucknell game, there will be a postgame autograph for one hour involving the Bison players.
The exhibition games are open to the public and there is no cost of admission. Seating, except seats reserved for the clinic registrants behind home plate, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans looking to attend the game are asked to enter the Little League International Complex via the entrance at East Mountain Avenue and will be directed to park in the parking lot in the outfield of Volunteer Stadium, along Borderline Road.
