- Bucknell last competed at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown during the 2018 season, with Colleen Buckley making her season debut at that meet, taking 24th out of 218 competitors. That season would go on to be special for Buckley, as she captured the Patriot League individual title weeks later at the Patriot League Championships in Lewisburg.
- The Bucknell women finished 17th overall at the meet out of a highly-competitive field of 24 teams that included five nationally-ranked squads.
- Friday's field looks set to be similarly competitive, with the Bison one of 24 teams featured in the women's 5k race that is set for a 12:30 p.m. start.
- Two ranked teams are set to attend the meet, with No. 20 Harvard and No. 23 Gonzaga both in attendance. Syracuse and Penn State, who received votes in the latest USTFCCA poll, will also make the trip to Boston.
- Bucknell had a solid showing its last time out, competing at the Siena Invite on September 10.
- The Bison took second at the meet with 94 points, only trailing Quinnipiac in the field of 13.
- Ally Clarke was Bucknell's top finisher at that meet, finishing tenth overall (18:35.0). First-year Caryn Rippey finished 15th overall, while Abby Paczewski (17th), Kate Amaddio (25th), Laura Sakol (26th), Keeley Misutka (27th), and Mia Bellucci (28th) also competed.
- After the meet on Friday, the Bison will have two weeks off before traveling to the Fordham Invite on October 14.
