Women's Cross Country Places a Conference-High 36 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell women's cross country team combined for an athletic-best 3.65 team grade-point average last fall, and on Thursday 36 members of the squad were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.Â
To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average (GPA) in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports. Bucknell recorded a league-high 193 student-athletes out of a total of 1,346 honorees.
Of Bucknell's 36 Honor Roll members, 30 also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better, and 12 women's cross country student-athletes earned perfect 4.0s: Alexa Andron, Madeline Barber, Gentry Bowie, Anna Carruthers, Avery Hargis, Lauren Joyce, Madeline Kerr, Laura Posh, Hailey Reinhard, Anne Sehon, Lauren Shaffer, and Katrina Torelli.Â
