Bucknell Men's Cross Country Opens 2022 Season at Home on Friday Evening

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell University men's cross country team is set to compete for the first time in the 2022 season on Friday at 6 p.m. for the Bison Open.
The Bison will return home for the first time since it opened the 2022 slate in Lewisburg, earning the team title against Lafayette.
Friday's race will feature a 6000-meter course on Bucknell's West Fields. Bucknell took the top six spots in winning last year's Bison Opener, with Michael Donnelly earning the individual title to open 2021. Stephen Schousen (3rd) and Harry Marson (5th) also return.
Lafayette, American, and Loyola (Md.) are all scheduled to compete against the Bison on Friday, who will also have one more home meet in the week leading up to the 2022 Patriot League Championships.
Bucknell will host the Patriot League Championships for the first time since 2018 this season, where Bucknell finished an impressive third on its home course.
After Friday's race, the Bison will travel to New York to take part in the Siena Invite on Saturday, September 10.
