Women's Tennis Hosts Army for Senior Day, Travels to Towson for Regular-Season Finale

NOTICE: Due to the weather, Bucknell's match against Army West Point was moved inside to the Central PA Tennis Center in South Williamsport, Pa. The new match time is 2 p.m.

Bison Celebrate Bellini
• The Bison will celebrate senior captain Daniela Bellini before Saturday's match against Army West Point. The ceremony will occur at approximately 10 a.m.
• Bellini is a two-time All-Patriot League selection, having made the 2019 First Team and the 2021 Second Team. The computer engineering major also earned a spot on the 2021 Academic All-Patriot League Team.
• Bellini has played first singles since her rookie campaign, compiling an overall record of 49-25. She went 18-7 as a first year and is 15-10 this season.
• Bellini's 49 singles victories are good for 17th in school history.
• In 2022 Patriot League dual action, Bellini is an unbeaten 5-0 to date. She also went 5-0 in Patriot League regular-season dual matches as a rookie.Â
• This season, Bellini has excelled on the top doubles court with first-year partner Whitney King. The duo is currently a sterling 21-3, one win shy of cracking Bucknell's single-season top 10 in victories.
• Over the course of her career, Bellini has spent time on both the first and second courts. Her 54 career doubles victories place her 11th in the Bison annals.

• The Bison are currently 12-7 (3-2 PL) after 4-3 win over Lafayette on April 9 and their 4-3 loss to Loyola on April 10. For going 2-0 at both first singles and first doubles that weekend, senior Daniela Bellini captured her second-straight Patriot League Player of the Week award.
• With its triumph over St. Bonaventure on March 5, Bucknell won at least eight of its first 10 matches for the second time in four seasons; in 2019-20, the Bison went 9-1 to begin dual match action.
• Bucknell went 5-5 (2-3 PL) in the spring of 2021, most notably scoring a 4-2 victory over rival Lehigh in the Patriot League Tournament quarterfinals.

• The Tigers are currently 5-10 (1-3 CAA) following their 7-0 loss to William & Mary on April 9 and their 5-2 victory over Norfolk State on April 10.
• Towson will face Drexel (April 13) and Saint Joseph's (April 15) before hosting Bucknell.
• During their abbreviated 2021 season, the Tigers posted a 7-14 (0-6 CAA) record. They blanked Hofstra, 4-0, and were shut out by James Madison, 4-0, in CAA Championship play.
• Towson brought back one of its two 2021 All-CAA selections in Themis Haliou.
• The Bison lead the all-time series with the Tigers, 13-6. Their scheduled 2019 and 2020 meetings were both canceled.
