Men's Tennis Falls at Drexel

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Drexel men's tennis team remained unbeaten this spring after a 7-0 decision over Bucknell on Sunday at the Drexel Tennis Bubble.
The Dragons improved to 4-0, while the Bison fell to 0-5 against a difficult early-season schedule.
Ink Chen and Nicolas Grunig held a 5-4 lead at No. 3 doubles when play was halted as the other two doubles matches went in Drexel's favor.
The Dragons then swept the six singles matches. Michael Owen took the first set from Xandy Hammitt in a tiebreaker before Hammitt rallied to take the final two sets, 6-4, 6-4.
Sophomore Harrison Gold, a UNC Wilmington transfer, made his Bucknell debut and played in the No. 1 singles and doubles spots.
Bucknell is back in action next weekend with two matches in Upstate New York. The Bison visit Siena on Friday at 6 p.m., then head down to Poughkeepsie to play Marist on Saturday at 5 p.m.
