LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell women's track & field sophomore Meghan Quinn has been named Bison of the Week after scoring in three different events and winning gold in the 60m dash at the Patriot League Indoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend.
Quinn, a native of Lititz, Pa., ran a 7.64 in the 60 to capture Bucknell's third straight Patriot League win in the event. She ran a 7.63 in Saturday's prelims, which was the second-fastest time in school history only behind 2020 graduate Kaitlin Salisbury (7.50). Salisbury won the event in 2019 and 2020.

Quinn also scored in the 200, running a 25.20 to land fifth at the championships. Her 200 time ranks seventh on Bucknell's all-time top 10 list. Rounding out a busy day on Sunday, Quinn ran the third leg of Bucknell's 4x400 relay team, which took third with a 3:52.67 and came in just behind second-place Navy (3:51.57).
Last spring, Quinn excelled in the Patriot League Outdoor Championships with a second-place finish in the 100, a fourth-place finish in the 200, and she was part of Bucknell's third-place 4x100 and its fourth-place 4x400.
This coming weekend, Quinn will join a number of Bison at the ECAC Championships as an automatic qualifier in the 60, 200 and 4x400. Events at the ECACs begin on Friday, March 4.
