- Bucknell will host the Patriot League Championships for the first time since 2018 on Saturday morning.
- The Bucknell women had a memorable outing that day, finishing first on a rain-soaked course to earn its fourth straight Patriot League Championship in the process. The meet was highlighted by individual champion Colleen Buckley, who was one of six Bison represented on the All-League teams. Head Coach Kevin Donner earned his eighth Patriot League Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year award that day.
- Bucknell has been led by six different runners in six races this season in Abby Paczewski, Keeley Misutka, Caryn Rippey, Ally Clarke, Lauren Trapani, and Grace Vives. Paczewski was the winner in Bucknell's season-opening meet against Patriot League competition on September 2, while Vives finished as Bucknell's top finisher at the Bucknell Tune-up last Friday.
- Bucknell does not return a scoring runner from last season's meet, but has plenty of experience with Clarke placing 39th last year. Paczewski (43rd), Laura Sakol (52nd), Mia Bellucci (61st), and Misutka (84th) also competed for the Bison that day. Paczewski, Kate Amaddio, and Bellucci also competed in the spring 2021 Patriot League Championship, finishing 19th, , 42nd, and 47th, respectively.
