- Bucknell will host the Patriot League Championships for the first time since 2018 on Saturday morning.
- The Bucknell men had a solid day that day, finishing third on a rain-soaked course and improving from two straight fifth-place finishes in the two years prior. Three Bison men earned All-League honors that day, with Brian Dengler, Jake Stupak, and Chad Sussman all earning accolades.
- The third-place finish for Bucknell at that meet was the highest showing for the Bison since finishing runner-up in 2014, and was the first time Bucknell finished ahead of Navy in the 16 years that the Mids had been in the Patriot League at the time.
- Bucknell will look to improve upon its sixth-place finish in 2021.
- Bucknell did earn a Patriot League Championship on its home course in 1998, which was the second of back-to-back-to-back championships for Hall-of-Fame Head Coach Art Gulden over that time.
- Samuel Whittaker will look to continue his excellent senior season for the Bison, where the native of Salem, Conn. has finished as Bucknell's leading runner in each of the four races that he has competed.
- Whittaker, who battled injuries last season, finished 48th overall at the meet. Returners from that meet also include Noah Martin, who is Bucknell's top returning finisher from last season (31st).
- Domenic Campagna (42nd), Bobby Lynam (44th), Stephen Scousen (43rd), Ben Santos (55th), and Harry Marson (56th) all return from Bucknell's Patriot League lineup last season.
