Women's Track and Field Heads to Massachusetts for ECAC Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell University women's track and field team will compete at the ECAC Championships beginning on Friday at American International College in Springfield, Mass. Â

About the Bison
- The Bison currently have 16 individuals participating at the meet, and will also send the 4x100 and 4x400 squads to Springfield this weekend.Â
- Meghan Quinn qualified as a first year in the 100 (12.10), where she is seeded 12th. Joining Quinn in the 100 will be teammate Bridget Lalonde (12.39), who is seeded 19th. Additionally, Lalonde is also set to compete in the 200 (25.88), where she is seeded 15th overall.Â
- Karly Forker and Ashley Blair are both set to compete in the 1500. Forker enters the meet seeded 7th (4:33.15) from the Virginia Invite, while Blair is 15th (4:36.63). Forker earned All-East honors last season indoors in the 1000 after placing fifth.Â
- In the 10k, both Emily Deschler and Olivia Dyer will compete. Deschler is seeded 7th in the event (36:23.95), while Dyer is 9th (37:07.67).Â
- First year Karen Hull qualified as the 11th seed in the 100m hurdles (14.27), and enjoyed an impressive rookie campaign in which she moved into the third spot on Bucknell's all-time list in the event.Â
- Michaela Bracken enters the competition as one of Bucknell's highest seeds, where she is fifth in the 400 hurdles. Bracken now ranks in the eighth spot at Bucknell with her personal best set at the Patriot League Championships.Â
- Ally Clarke and Asta Rusted are both set to compete in the 3000m steeplechase, and are seed 14th and 15th, respectively. First year Abby Kates will enter the high jump as the sixth seed (5-6.5), which placed her second at the Patriot League Championships behind teammate Alex Butz.Â
- Junior Gianna Macones will compete in two events at ECACs. The native of Sparta, N.J. is seeded 16th in the long jump (18-8.75), and 15th in the triple jump (38-10.25). Teammate Lexi Gray is seeded 20th in the triple jump (37-9.25).Â
- Madison McGloin (171-8) is seeded 15th in the hammer throw, while Riley Beebe is seeded 16th in the javelin.Â
- Qualifying individuals will next take part in the NCAA East Preliminary meet held at the University of North Florida beginning on Wednesday, May 26.Â
