Men’s Golf Defeats Lehigh in Dual Match

RESULTS
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell and Lehigh tuned up for next week's Patriot League Championship with an 18-hole dual match on Saturday at the Bucknell Golf Club, and the Bison prevailed in a closely contested match 289-294.
The difference in the match was Bucknell's top three players all shooting 2-over-par 72s, while Lehigh's top three all posted 73s.
For the Bison, it was Jackson Bussell, Blake Wisdom and Chris Tanabe all coming in with 72s, followed closely by Jason Lohwater and Josh Holtschlag with 73s. Jack Gardner added a 76 in the play-6, count-4 format.
Lehigh received 73s from David Hurly, Sam Barton and Joey Dotta. Owen Quinn and Edmund Broderick followed with 75s, and Marco Arosemena shot 77.
Both teams also had extra individuals in action. Dylan Ford shot 76 and Max Orwicz 82 for the Bison, while A.J. Gilpin posted a 75 for the Mountain Hawks.
The 54-hole Patriot League Championship gets underway next Saturday at the Naval Academy Golf Course in Annapolis.
