RESULTS
HELLERTOWN, Pa. -- The Bucknell women's golf team got its 2021 spring season underway on Saturday and dropped a close 317-319 decision to Lehigh at Steel Club. The two teams will meet again on Sunday, this time on Bucknell's home course.
Tatum McKelvey was the low Bison on Saturday with a 78. She was joined on the "Blue" squad by Kelsey Yi (79), Casey Morrow (80), Morgan Sohosky (82) and Cristina Canalas (85). Yi, Sohosky and Canalas were all making their Bucknell debuts.
Four other Bison also teed it up on Saturday, with Morgan Hennessy leading the "Orange" group with a 79. Sun Woo Jeon shot 81, Sahana Paravantavida shot 83, and Erin Holmes had an 88.
Lehigh posted the top three scores of the day with a 3-over-par 75 fro Hannah Foster and 77s from Angela Ding and Sophie Holland, but the Mountain Hawks also had to count an 88.
Sunday's play begins at 11 a.m. at the Bucknell Golf Club.
