RESULTS
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell and Lehigh women's golf teams engaged in a tightly contested dual match for the second straight day, and on Sunday at the Bucknell Golf Club the Bison flipped the script and edged the Mountain Hawks by a count of 302-305. The win avenged a narrow 317-319 loss at Steel Club a day earlier.
Both teams played well in this early season match, despite seeing wet and breezy conditions throughout much of the day. Casey Morrow and Morgan Sohosky, playing in the same foursome, led Bucknell with a pair of 4-over-par 74s. The Bison also counted 77s from freshmen Cristina Canales and Kelsey Yi, and Tatum McKelvey added a 79 for the "Blue" squad.
Morgan Hennessy, Sun Woo Jeon and Sahana Paravantavida all shot 79 for Bucknell's "Orange" group. Erin Holmes and Kayla Yi both carded 81s.
The round of the day was a 73 from Lehigh's Sophie Holland. The Mountain Hawks also counted a 74 from Angela Ding and 79s from Hannah Foster and Iris Shin.
The Bison are back in action next Friday and Saturday at the Navy Spring Invitational at the USNA Golf Course.
